These Terms of Service govern your use of the VocaFlare AI mobile app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

VocaFlare AI is an AI-powered language learning app offering tutoring conversations, vocabulary review, tests, reading exercises, learning paths and progress tracking.

Eligibility and accounts

• You may start using the app as a guest; some features require creating an account or signing in.
• If you are a minor, you may use the app only with the consent of a parent, guardian or your school.
• You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Subscriptions and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription (Pro). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed by them.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your store account settings.
• Refunds are handled according to the policy of the store you purchased through.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to disrupt it, access it in unauthorized ways, submit unlawful content, or use it to harass others. In Practice Rooms, treat other learners with respect. Do not harass others, make romantic or sexual advances, or share or request personal contact details, and practice in your target language. We may moderate conversations and suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI-generated content

The app uses AI to generate conversations, corrections and exercises. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for learning purposes only. Do not rely on it as professional advice.

Your content

You retain rights to the content you submit, such as text and voice. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Messages you send in a Practice Room are shared with your matched partner and processed by our AI for moderation and session summaries.

Intellectual property

The VocaFlare name, logo, app and its content are owned by VocaFlare and protected by law. You may not copy or use them commercially without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VocaFlare is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
